Fed Up With Cable/Satellite TV Companies

Back in the 50’s & 60’s there were 3 TV channels to choose from. On some nights, especially Sunday’s, it was hard to know which one to watch because the progams were all good.

Today cable & satelite TV companies offer over 200 channels and it’s hard to find just one that’s good enough to watch.

If we subscribe to a cable or satellite TV company, why can’t we choose which programs to subscribe to instead of “packages” consisting of uninteresting audio music channels and TV channels?

Why don’t cable/satellite TV offer a package like this: You choose what channel you want for a fee of say, $2 or $3 per month and then have a minimum of 10 channels that can be ordered? That way we could get rid of all the garbage and pay only for what we want.

One more thing. If we subscribe to a cable or satellite company, why do we also have to pay to watch commercials? I would be interested in hearing their answer on that one.

Anyone else out there as fed up as me?

YES!!!! Love your suggestion! I am sick of all the negative programming & then most of it is re-runs of negative & offensive programming. AND we have to pay for it! ENOUGH! If enough people would cancel their cable…let’s say for the summer, it would make a huge & powerful statement.
